Community SupportRonald McDonald House Manitoba
Ronald McDonald House Manitoba is an organization that keeps families together. We operate two core programs: Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Children's Hospital.
Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for out-of-town families who are in Winnipeg while their children are receiving care for any illness. The House is a warm, welcoming space where families can connect with each other in a supportive environment.
The Ronald McDonald Family Room is a home within the hospital for any family with a pediatric patient. Open from 9am-9pm every day of the week, this space offers comfort and care just steps away from your child's bedside. Three sleeping rooms offer overnight accomodations for families of children in critical situations.
Winnipeg Goldeyes Field of Dreams Foundation
Since its inception in 1995, the Winnipeg Goldeyes Field of Dreams Foundation has raised more than $1.6 million for children's charities in Manitoba. Funds are raised through a number of sources including the sale of this coupon book, the team's annual golf tournament, fan donations, the Fillmore Riley Ks For Kids promotion, Catch & Release ticket program, TCBY pitch speed booth proceeds, memorabilia auctions and the sale of 50/50 tickets at all home games.
The CancerCare Manitoba Foundation is the only organization exclusively fundraising for CancerCare Manitoba.
CancerCare Manitoba’s main aim is to eradicate a disease consisting of more than 150 types and stages. A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming. Up-to-date information regarding treatment options, resources and services are vital as patients and families make their way through the cancer journey, from diagnosis to treatment.
